As close to new as you will likely ever see. 97 was the first year for the TL1000s naked sport bike The beautiful dark green paint is original, and it is the rarest shade used in that year's production run. The TL1000s is powered by a 1000cc, water cooled, fuel injected, V-Twin engine that is producing over 100 horsepower. This particular bike is equipped with a Power Commander II and Yoshimura exhaust system. This bike is not for the inexperienced rider or the faint of heart. It sounds, and runs like a wild animal. It is a naked sport bike, so it has all the horsepower and handling of a road racer without all the plastic fairings. You can see the engine instead of it being hidden by plastic. This bike is in excellent condition. There a few scratches, and two or three chips in the paint, but you will find a lot of newer bikes with a lot more blemishes than this 1997 bike has on it. The factory paint still shines like a new penny. The engine runs like a top, with mountains of power all through the rev range. The brakes are excellent. The Michelin tires are fair, but will definitely get you through this riding season. The bike is equipped with an aftermarket smoked windshield. The original windshield, a passenger seat, a tank bra, and the original exhaust is included in the sale. The only thing that this bike needs is a new rider.
