1976 Ford Maverick for sale 56k original miles (will change slightly, been driving it around and to work) 250 6cyl (runs great, small exhaust leak at manifold gasket) auto trans (shifts great) p/s (TIGHT steering and no leaks!) power disc brakes a/c (everything works, but liquid line got a hole bunrt in it so the line will need to be replaced and the freon refilled...i have the line that will go with the car, or will fix if i have time) Needless to say this old car runs and drives very very well, prolly one of the best driving all original cars I've had...which is why I couldnt part it out. everything works on the car that i have found, even the AM radio and annoying buzzer to remind u the dr side door is open. I have driven it to work a couple times this week so far (60 miles round trip) and has drove flawlessly. Has a new carb on it, new battery, newer master cylinder. Had the radiator flushed at work because i noticed some crud in the top of it when i bought it, and it looks like it has been overheated once before because of the residue under the hood so to be safe it may need it again or maybe just a new radiator. I also topped off the brake fluid as well.... (just listing everything I can think of) Exterior looks great for it's age. looks like original paint except for the pass side fender and had some small paint chips in it. has a small dent on the pass side rear of the trunk lid. behind both rear wheels has a very small amount of rust that has been filled with some kind of sealer and seems to be water tight. windshield looks like it might have had a small leak at one time or something cause there's some sealent around the outer edge of the windshield trim, but i took the car to the car wash and it doesnt leak a drop anywhere around the windshield, cowl or anywhere. tires are newer but have some slight dry-rott from sitting Interior is nice for it's age as well. pass side carpet has been patched and shows some surface rust but is very solid, as well as the front seat on the dr side where it looks like a rip was stitched back together. dash is discolored and has a crack in the middle of it and have been slightly repaired at one point but needs attention again/ Rest of the interior is in great shape. all dash lights work, AM radio works, buzzers, dome light, everything. Buyer is responsible for a $250 non-refundable deposit at end of auction, and the rest either in person during pick-up or via Paypal (add 3% for paypal fees) Car will need to be picked up within 7 days of auction end, unless other arrangements are made I reserve the right to end auction early as this car is for sale locally as well.
