1987 Honda Rebel

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is my 1987 Honda Rebel 250. Bought it new in 1988, sold it to a friend, then bought it back years later. He never re-titled it, so I still hold the original Pennsylvania title. He also laid it down at one point, after which it lost 3d gear, but that was over 6000 miles ago, and it's been ridden since then without any issues from the transmission (just have to go directly from 2d to 4th.) Bike has just had a major service, with carb rebuilt, and new tires. Another friend borrowed it last month, thinking he would buy it, and didn't secure it on the trailer, so it fell, and dented the original gas tank. He bought a brand new replacement tank (extra capacity, I believe), which goes with the sale. (He's a big guy, and the 250 just wasn't enough to get him around). It will cruise all day long, barely sipping gas, and purring as it goes. It does have scuffs and scrapes on the fenders, a few small splits in the seats, and will need a new rear turn signal, but is otherwise good to go. Factory sissy bar. I have a lot of memories attached to this machine, but I barely ever ride it, so it needs to go to a good home. Bike is sold "AS IS" with no warranties express or implied.
