1967 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper (Walk-thru). This is a daily driver. The van is pretty complete. Let’s start first with what needs repair. The Bad. Fuel gauge always reads “empty”. The sending unit in tank was replaced to no avail. Passenger-side windshield wiper has an issue, it still works but it is sometimes temperamental. The icebox is missing on the pullout bed; one of the doors hinges needs some attention the horn is not working. Now, The Good. The front end was rebuilt, new breaks. Engine and tranny rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago as well as rear reduction gears. Most of the window rubber seals are new. New canvas, screens, and latches on the pop top. New front tires. Components installed new starter, alternator, distributor, fuel pump and clutch. All work has been done within the last 10,000 miles. The van is mostly complete and is very drivable, though it does need some metalwork, as you can see in the pictures. In addition, I have the rear bumper.
