Just 37 miles in 11 years!! This is your opportunity to saves thousands $$ while purchasing a top performance bike that looks and rides like brand new. The 2000 model was so advanced, strong and reliable that it performs and looks like today's model. I am the original buyer, having purchased the bike new from Concord Motorsports (I have purchase documentation). The bike was purchased with the hope I'd ride with my son. The entire family gravitated to ATV's, and this XR650R sat in my garage in California for 5 years (only taken on two trips), then moved to my climate controlled garage in Idaho for another 5 years and ridden for several 1/2 hour rides during the summer vacations. Prior to the move to Idaho, a motorcycle performance shop serviced the bike and recommended the FMF2 exhaust tip (see the photos) and an upgraded carburetor for increased horsepower and better "breathing," which I had them install -- other than that, it's stock and nothing has been modified. I brought the bike back to California last month to sell. I realize there's no way to provide additional proof on the low mileage, but my 100% positive feedback of over 1200 perfect transactions is my word. Please be sure you're comfortable with that before you buy it. Buyer must arrange to pick up the bike in Pleasanton, CA. UPDATE: Please be serious about your commitment -- The first buyer (from out of state) missed the deadline to post his deposit, then realized he couldn't afford the bike a couple of days later before he ever came to see it....consequently, I released him from his commitment. The second buyer made the commitment to pick it up in 30 days once he moved back to the west coast. A couple of days ago, he learned he will not be returning. Therefore, I'm now requiring immediate payment for the deposit upon purchase (THE DEPOSIT WILL ONLY BE RETURNED IF YOU SEE THE BIKE IN PERSON), so please be serious and ready to arrange picking it up. When you see the amazing condition of the bike, you will not be disappointed. Again, to be clear, the deposit is refundable, BUT ONLY IF YOU SEE THE BIKE IN PERSON before you choose to back out.
