Alfa Romeo's have always been known for their excellent power, performance and handling and the GTV6...Gran Turismo Veloce...was the type of car that won European Touring Car Championships for an unprecedented four years in succession from 1982 to 1985 as well as the British Touring Championship in 1983 and a variety of other racing and rallying competitions. To go along with that impressive history is another claim to fame for its brief appearance in the James Bond movie Octopussy where it got to show off in a thrilling high speed chase! A sharp design with excellent lines the GTV6 was one of the most popular Alfa Romeo sports coupes ever made. This 1986 model had only one owner for 25 years, the last 16 of which it was stored in a climate controlled building where the present owner came across it. After going over the car and performing some re-conditioning to the tune of $3,500; he has totally enjoyed using the Alfa as a driver...a true pleasure to drive that will take to the twists and turns as fast as you're willing to try and get incredible fuel mileage to boot! The interior of this '86 Alfa is also in impressive condition, the pictures will highlight some of the issues such as the headliner being a bit dirty and the a/c directional vent being broken...overall nothing major. This Alfa Romeo GTV6 runs, idles, rides, drives and stops excellent, 81,611 original miles... totally ready to take to the streets. All of its lighting and features are in proper working order with the exception of the a/c as mentioned above.
