There were several postings by Mr. von Heck that went into great detail about the history of the car. Apparently Point Loma is an area near San Diego, and that is the meaning of the phrase on the vanity tag. If you can find those old postings, you will learn a lot more about the car. Possible information on this car. I have no proof this was Bill Mitchells car, but this is an interesting link from the Cadillac boys who followed this car. http://www.cadillaclasalleclub.org/forum/index.php?topic=111915.0 This is what the custom plaque reads : Carrossier Commemortive"classical Central-grille theme" &"extended paint-trim motif" alterations approved by-Whm L.
