Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my dad's 1953 Jaguar Mark VII right-hand drive. It has been in the family since new and comes with the original title from 1953 including tons of receipts, paperwork, operating manual, and original owner's handbook! The Jaguar is completely original as far as i know and has never been restored! The Jag was originally imported to New york city where it spent just a year before being moved to Florida where it has resided since! The jag starts right up on the first try and drives, shifts, and stops very well! The paint is original black lacquer and has a few scratches and nicks but is still shiny and presents well! there are no dents or major damage anywhere. The interior needs very little in my opinion though both front seats will need to be recovered but again its completely original ! The back seat and all door panels still look new and does not show much signs of wear if any at all! The headliner is original and in excellent shape as well as all the wood trim on the dash and door panels! There is very little rust overall on the body or frame just mostly consisting of surface rust. All of the ACC. function well including the sunroof and side mounted blinkers. The original chrome is all there and still shines well but is coming off in a couple of small spots on the rear bumper only. The motor, drivetrain, and suspension are original right down to the leather wrapped leafsprings. I have also included a link with the exact specs to the Jag below. All in all the Jaguar is a rare survivor! Bid with confidence!
