This is a great project car that has no exterior rust and is straight. It has minor floorpan rust but the trunk area is perfect. The car is 99% complete but needs full restoration. It has a clear title in my name. Here are the details on the car. If I missed anything, feel free to ask. The majority of the pics are on the photobucket link. BODY: The car still has it's original "casino cream" paint job on it. The body on this car is very nice for a project. There is no rust in the exterior of the car. The floorpans have minor rust. There is rust in the floorpan in the rear seat area, primarily in the foot area. The foot area would be easier to fix with replacement panels. The passenger front foot area has a small spot approximately 4x5" that needs patched. Drivers side has one small 1x1" patch that needs done. The trunk looks perfect. I've been all over the car and the floor rust is all I could find. I checked any exterior area with "surface" rust and it's solid. I checked it by pushing on it with a pointed object. The car looks to still have the original paint and no signs of bondo anywhere. It does need all glass but windshields/rear glass can be found new (or used). Side glass is flat and easy to get made. Taillight bezels are included but not the best. I've already found parts cars at salvage yards and I know of several other large "classic car" salvage yards across the US to find what you'll need for restoration. MECHANICAL: The buick is complete mechanically except for the air cleaner. I have not tried to get it running or turn the engine over. It has oil and that's about all I know about it. This is a 364 nailhead with a 2-barrel. It could run but if not, rebuild kits are readily available as well as used 4-barrel intakes. The brakes don't work and the car will need to have everything mechanical checked out. It does have power steering and brakes. Auto transmission. No A/C. Hubcaps in pictures are not included. They are off a '55 mercury. I do not have any '58 buick hubcaps to include but I'm sure they can be found. INTERIOR: The interior is complete as far as "hard" type parts. Rear seat is included but may not be pictured. The interior will need full restoration.
