1972 Honda

First year 1972 honda xl250 original frame/engine etc.This is a very well cared for mildly modified running /riding /titled/licensed survivor,bike has new dual sport tires/tube, new grips ,new chain , new mirror ,unripped seat ,cleaned gas tank /carb ,recent oil change ,all lights work, horn works but needs minor attention . good rims ,great brakes,fenders in good shape ,under seat battery cover and tool tray intact ,original key/ignition, fork lok works, seat lock needs attention ,tachometer/speedometer work,clock says aprox. 5900.00 miles.I have owned this bike for 3 years ,so Im uncertain if this is actual mileage , the look and feel of the bike says yes .The choke has been removed...bike doesn't need it , starts right up first kick ,orig,choke included w/spares .bike needs final tune ,float set/possible jet/needle, set for your elevation.has different headlight bucket ,r. side control switch has been bypassed, you can jump on this bike and ride today,it turns alot of heads as is ,and lets face it,if you are looking to restore one of these bikes 9 times out of 10 you are doing a repaint anyway, this one is basically in primer .bike is not perfect,but very nice machine I have tried to be as straight forward ,but may have missed something if you are interested call me , or you can come by and see it in the los angeles area or call me at 307 780 5658 ,I may assist in shipping from the L.A. area but all fees are the buyers responsibilites , mayship overseas as well, 250.00 paypal deposit 48 hrs. after auction ends balance in cash or certified check. bike does not leave until funds cleared may be able to hold bike for a short while until you can retrieve, contact me first, bidders with under 10 pos. feedback contact me or bid may be canceled.
