1970 ELDORADO, bought from the second owner, he has had it for most of its life. Has been sitting since 2003, put fresh gas in it, a good battery and drove it home. Has been repainted once, the roof canvas is shot, has the big 502 c.i. engine, 8.3 litres, approx 123,000 miles, cant remember the exact amount, has been a little while since I looked last. Has two perfect taillights in it, and 1 extra in the front seat. The interior is all original and in preety good shape, the map light screen in the dash is missing. All of the features such as the power windows, wipers, auto climate control and power seats all work, cannnot remember if the cruise works, dont think I have ever tried.The a/c is still R12 and works and has a charge. I do know the the alt is not charging, not sure if its the alt or the regulator, havent spent any time checking it out. Most of all the trim is there, there is one corner piece missing around the grill surround, and recently the rear crest on the deck lid dissappered, and the Eldorado name never got put back on the side of the front fenders. I have a set of Eldorado letters for 1 side. This car is very solid, cannot see much cancer on the body, this car lived in eastern Washington and Central Oregon all of its life and hasnt been exposed to deicer or road salt. The trunk release works in the glove box, the trunk carpet is missing due to age and I was planning on replacing it but havent done anything with it, too many hobbies.
