This VW convertible had an engine fire that scorched the rear a bit and charred the bottom of the top. The top frame is in good condition as the top was fairly new before the fire. I have the back window removed from the top and it is glass. It will only take a small amount of body work at the rear and some paint to fix the fire damage. The interior is complete and in fairly decent shape but could use a little TLC. The pan has had repair and is ok but the rear luggage shelf behind the rear seat is rusted and will need to be replaced. Throw a motor in it and you can be driving it. The tires and brakes and battery are like new. I have the top assembly in a box. Great bug for restoration or a small project. The engine is a 1500 single port "H" block that has heads and will run if put back together. Motor is disassembled as far as fan shroud and sheet metal but the block has not been opened or heads removed.
