What a super clean little TDI! I just had the local TDI specialist check this car over very thoroughly. He was very impressed with the car and could only find a few small preventative maintenance items to address. Here is what he serviced:- New serpentine belt- New windshield wiper blades- New cabin air filter- New rear brakes- New trunk latch (updated to the new style metal assembly from the original plastic unit which was sticking) Additionally, he found that the shocks and struts have been replaced recently with high-quality Koni units, and the original plastic underbody panel (skid plate) has been replaced with an aluminum one from Kerma TDI (helps with fuel economy and protects the engine oil pan from any potential speed bump or pot hole damage). The mechanic was very impressed with the car! It seems to have been extremely well taken care of. The timing belt and water pump do look to have been replaced at around the 100k mile mark, but I don't any service records to verify this. This is a very clean car both inside and out, and everything on it works perfect! I wouldn't at all be afraid to drive it anywhere on earth! Fly in and drive it home!
