Hi--up for auction is my REAL 1971 Nova SS, Car is very solid and would make a great restoration project. Original engine and transmission are long gone--they where blown up by the original owner on a now closed local dragstrip. He installed a junk 2 barrel 350 and trans out of a truck just to get the car movng again. When I got the car I drove it till that motor let go and then I installed a rebuilt motor and trans out of a 1973 Nova SS Hatchback. Engine is a 350 with a mild 1000---4800 camshaft and a late 60's 327 iron manifold and Quadrajet. Trans was rebuilt with all B&M parts and a B&M 2000 rpm stall converter. This engine and trans has less than 20,000 on it since it was put in back in '97. Rearend is a 12 bolt posi with 3.73 gears. Car has power disk brakes, no power steering though. It did get the full center console with the guage package and the tachometer in the dash----all the guages still work fine. The smashed up passenger fender was the result of me trying to get to my girlfriend to help her out in the snow 20 years ago.... I took the highway exit and the car said "i'm going straight... I don't car what you say..." and I ran into wire guard rails. It really only needs a new fender... nothing is really trashed as a result. I do have a brand new multi-leaf spring set for the back and a nice used front bumper and a genuine SS Hood with louvers--these parts will alll go with the car. Please ask any and all questions... If your wondering why the horn button isn't an SS its because when I got the car it had an aftermarket wheel on it and I didn't like it.... there wasn't any internet so the only "factory" wheel I found was this one at a swap meet. Finding an SS horn button is easy these days.... Tony
