California, 1963, Porsche Super 90, Reuters body, black paint exterior with side by side rear cooling grills. The luggage rack is included (not currently installed). The interior is black with gray headliner. All mechanical systems are in excellent running order, ready for restoration. Second owner has maintained and driven this automobile since 1965. Recent (last 10,000 miles) engine rebuild with 1800 cc kit, along with front and rear suspension rebuild give the car classic Porsche handling. The engine has the original cam and crank and the updated 912 engine case which avoids cracking under the oil cooler. Updated Solex 40-P-11 carburetors (split shaft) and distributor rebuild (with CD ignition) provide as-new drive-ability. The engine reliably idles at 800 RPM and has no flat spots in acceleration. The car retains the original 6 volt electrical system. All gauges work and provide accurate readings. An auxiliary 12 volt system for modern radios has been installed. The car is original except for the radio! The car has experienced no traffic collision damage in its history. There is minor parking lot damage on the nose and the rear fender. The body has never been exposed to salt. It has 4 minor rust spots. The interior shows it age and requires restoration. The car comes with an inventory of spare parts including 2 fuel pumps, 2 distributors, new headlight assemblies with halogen bulbs, spare clutch, tachometer and speedometer cables, spare fan belts, new rubber trim, light bulbs and misc trim. The original tool set is included along with special carburetor tools and Porsche maintenance books. License No. HBP052, California 1963 black and yellow style.
