1946 Chevrolet Truck The item up for auction is a nice old Chevy pickup truck featuring beautiful art deco styling and lots of chrome. The truck was restored about 10 years ago and is still in really nice shape. The body is solid and straight, but does have some minor surface rust here and there. The motor is a 235 V6, which may or may not be original. It runs well, and is ready to go. The truck has always been stored inside, and has never been driven in bad weather. The tires are only a few years old and have very little mileage on them. The gas tank and fuel pump were recently replaced, and the battery is one year old. The speedometer/odometer is not working, so the exact mileage is unknown. A new speedometer cable should take care of the problem. Temperature and oil pressure gauges need to be hooked up. The drivers window has a small crack in it, and the driver's side windshield also has a very small crack in it. All of the lights are working, and the truck has turn signals. The air filter is missing and needs to be replaced. The wood in the bed is good and solid, but is slightly weathered. The windshield has been sealed and does not tilt out, it would not be hard to make it operable again. Overall the truck looks very nice and is complete and solid. The truck is located and can be seen in Lake Geneva, WI.
