1965 Plymouth Valiant Convertible Welcome to my auction! You are bidding for a nice running Plymouth Valiant Custom 200 Convertible with less than 60,000 miles on the clock located in Calgary, Canada. Red exterior, with a red-and-white interior and a white top. This is a currently registered and insured daily driver, so everything works. A great basis for a restoration, or just a fun daily driver. The convertible top was replaced a couple of years ago, and the backlight (back window) is clear, not yellowed, and not very scratched up (you can see through it easily). The latches work fine. The roof is manual, not electric. The boot is in good shape, as you can see. The slant-six 225 engine has been well-maintained, and gets 20 mpg on the highway with regular grade gas. It's a column shift automatic with power steering and manual brakes. The car still has the original working AM radio. The tuning knob shaft broke, but the knob itself is with the car. The front bench seat needs reupholstering and new padding, but the back seat is in fine shape. The body is rusty at all the normal places, but the floor is in good shape and it doesn't leak water or fumes. Somebody backed into one of my taillights and I replaced it with one I had in the garage from a 1966 Valiant - other than that all the trim is original and present in fair shape.
