Here is a 1952 GMC 1-1/2 ton truck with working dump bed. I have had this truck for a number of years and do not get to use it, so it needs to find a new home! I had it painted a year ago in the red and black style of the 50's, I had them paint the interior at that time as well. The floor had some rust issues like most of the old trucks so I had the floor cut out and new floor welded in and it looks great. The battery pictured is not the correct size for the floor battery box, I will have this corrected before the sale ends! The dump bed works as it should and is very smooth. I just had new brakes put on the truck, front and rear and it stops great.I had a new fuel tank and sending unit put in the truck but the guage is not working so that still needs to be looked at. The trucks runs, drives and stops great. The only issues that I know of is the fuel guage, wiper arms needed (wiper motor works) and it needs some mirrors. The original camper mirrors that were on it were not in good shape and got pitched. The passenger window has a crack in it but still works fine. It has a 235 Chevy inline 6 cylinder that runs just fine. Top speed on this truck is around 40-45 MPH. It has a granny gear 4 speed in it that works great. Tires hold air and drive fine around town but for long trips I would trailer it, the tires do show a bit of cracking on them. Very neat old truck that will make you a happy owner! The odometer shows 07082.4 and I know I have not put on 200 miles on it since I have owned it so I would guess it is 107,082.4. Truck is sold as is where is.
