This beetle TDI is very clean and works like new. It's been in NM since new, and has never seen snow or road salt. The car has been maintained since new, and runs perfectly. Its a GLS, so it has nearloy all the extra goodies. The AC, foglights, cruise control, power sunroof, radio cassette head unit and CD changer all work just like they were designed to. The car has new tires, engine and cabin air filter were just replaced, and the oil gets changed regularly (Rotella Synthetic). The car has an aftermarket aluminum belly pan that is much stronger than the original plastic tray, and protects the underside of the engine. This car routinely gets 43-48 mpg. We use it mostly for interstate driving, and we've managed to get 700 mi out of a single tank when we drive carefully. Other than one window switch, maintenance has been limited to the standard preventative stuff. The car has a few minor cosmetic scuffs, etc on the exterior, but the interior is like new.
