Vehicle Detail
1985 Chevrolet decommissioned military Blazer M1009 CUCV specially ordered from Chevy by the US Army on a 3/4ton frame and axles 6.2 diesel engine, runs perfectly, only 72000 miles on it 24 volt system run on two 12 volt newly rebuilt alternators freshly flushed cooling system all wheel axle seals have recently been replaced 7-8 inches of lift very rare 37.5-13.5 Michelin XML mil spec tires new Pro Comp ES 9000 shocks just re-sprung rear end w/ overloads so it sits nice and level new rear window seals still has the weapon mounts in the back and the black out feature on all the lights top and back seat are removable all the seats are in great shape has just a few minimal rust spots (pictured below) body is in overall great shape has a few dents and dings as you'd expect with a military vehicle still has bumper numbers from its unit of service Reserve Lowered from Previous Listing 2 new batteries (about a year old) I bought the truck about a year ago and have loved it. I've used it almost as a daily driver and it starts right up every time. It handles really well for it's size on the road. The gas mileage isn't as bad as you might expect. I get about 15 on average (about the same as a new suburban). It has never been hard 4 wheeled. We took it camping and loved it. It looks great and really surprises people to see a 3/4ton diesel short wheel base truck. It always draws a crowd. I hate to sell it but I've changed jobs and new ventures require new capital.
