Vehicle Detail

1971 Triumph Tiger Café and Stock Please read carefully. This is a 1971 Triumph Tiger that has been with us for over 15 years. The bike has less than 15K original miles. When bought it was 100% original and in good running condition but shabby. The bike was then restored except for the motor and used very little. Recently, we converted the bike to a nifty Café Racer look as seen in the pictures. The motor was completely rebuilt professionally. No alterations were made to the original bike parts in this process. All original parts that were replaced are stored properly in perfect shape and included. Reason for sale: All of this was made for my son who after all is not interested in vintage motorcycles. Specifications: Motor rebuilt less than 200 miles ago by a vintage Triumph specialist. Everything was done, new Hepolite pistons, all seals, all races, all bearings, etc. Re-sleeved original carb by Lund. Powder coated frame and all black parts. Side stand lug replaced by NOS one, 1972 Type Center stand reinforced plates added. Cadmium plated fasteners. New British made rims with SS spokes, new Dunlop tires, new brake shoes, new cables, new fork tubes. New British style handlebars, gel grips, all in one metal switch unit, excellent quality bar end signal lights, smaller side reflectors, 60’s tail light, custom kill switch, coils relocated to custom rubber mounted brackets to clear space for proper large tool box, custom made high quality gel bump seat that lowers the seat height by 2 inches and opens like the original with a 60’s style custom made button. Chrome headlight ears. Genuine Dunstall mufflers, vintage valve and points covers, Pazon electronic ignition, solid state voltage regulator, sealed battery, new shocks, new fork tubes. Also included are: Original shop manual, original parts list, owner’s handbook, spare gasket kit for oil changes and carb, receipts for nearly all expenses and CD with all the photographs for documentation. There is close to $ 7,300 invested in the bike not counting our labor! Clear Florida Title. Will ship but you make all the arrangements and pay for it. Allow for shipping of take-off parts and books! Immediate deposit of $500 required.Remember always that this is a 40 year old motorcycle that although in excellent shape, requires that the owner is willing to learn how to maintain it. There are no warranties.
