Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a 1984 Blazer 4x4 with a 6.2 litre diesel engine. I bought this truck to fix up and drive myself. My daughter has driven a 85 just like it for 6 years, It has been a great truck and gets 23 miles to the gallon. I was looking forward to that. I just can't seem to find time to finish it or I've just got old and lazy. This truck runs and drives, mechanically its in pretty good shape, just needs running. It is what would have been a Z71 in 1984. You will notice in photos the dual shocks on front. This truck was broken into prior to me buying it. They stole the instrument panel , dash pad and the seats. I have found 2 seats and purchased them out of a 89 Blazer ...same color. they are in photos. I have found a instrument cover, but its wrong year...won't work. I found a pad but its in bad shape. It needs carpet. The cable is broke to the rear glass. This body is solid, the only signs at all of rust is on passenger rocker panel, its little more than surface. It has a decent set of Michelin LTX M/S 32x11.50 tires mounted on a set of 10x15 alluminum wheels. It has the Silverado package which includes all the power options. Not sure if air works or not, Its all there. I put 2 new batteries in it when I bought it. That was over 200.00 The paint is dull, could be buffed out for a daily driver. It just needs a fired up owner again. It would not take much money or work to make this a very nice Blazer. I see military K5's on here bringing twice what I want for this truck, and they were not much nicer than this truck when they was new. Keep in mind you are bidding on a project that needs finishing, and it has not been driven regular in while. Thanks for looking ........
