I recently acquired this rare original Jeep from the second owner. Unbelievable condition! 32000 actual miles, original paint and interior. Story is that the original owner bought 2 of these new in 1971, one to drive (which he wore out) and one to plow his driveway. This is the one that had the plow. It was lightly used and well cared for. He had it Ziebarted(rustproofing) nine times! It's been garaged it's whole life. The plow is removed and may be available if someone is interested. This Jeep is equipped with the original 360 engine, 3 speed automatic, power steering and power brakes. Avacoda green with optional charcoal cloth interior. Also has chrome window vent shields, dual chrome mirrors and trailer hitch. Previous owner stored this Jeep very carefully, always covered and always left wax on the bumpers, as a result the chrome is very nice. The glass is original and perfect. The rear glass is manual and rolls very easily. Doors shut really well and door glasses all work as new. Rust hole in left lower rear quarter and on the right rocker panel. Minor surface rust in small areas.(see pictures) Undercarraige is just plain ugly! Surface rust and flaky, old fashion undercoating. There are oil drips from several places. Four small screw holes in center hump where plow controls were mounted. . It has a small dent in the center of the hood. I'm not sure if a paint-less dent removal guy could take it out as it is dented from the underside(again, see pictures). Tires are Dunlop Radial Rover RV, have good tread remaining but they are pretty aggressive so they're noisy. 100% original paint, mostly pretty shiny and nice. Near perfect original interior, really nice factory rubber floor mat, front seat has had a cover on it since new and the back seat may have never been used! Original AM radio plays well, never smoked in, ashtrays are perfect. Seat belts, door panels, armrests, glove box, radio, steering wheel, instrument cluster are all perfect! Carburetor was replaced at one time but I have the original and a box of spare parts. Stainless steel exhaust, poly tank. I realized today that the gas gauge is not working. Four wheel drive works good. Starts, runs and drives great as only an original, low mileage car can. No squeaks, rattles or wind noise. It just glides down the road, it drives straight and brakes smooth and straight. This is truly the best driving old car I've ever owned.
