Hi, I'm listing this 1969 Chrysler Roadrunner for my father. My parents are looking to retire, so the car has got to go. It had a 1966 440 motor with lots of horsepower. Rear end has a 4:10 posi. Wheels are Centerlines, with Mickey Thomson interlocking " I's ". The car has some rust/rot starting to come through the normal areas, please see pics. The car has the elephant hood scoop with hood pins. The original hood comes with the car, along with the hood hinges and springs. The area where the springs connect to the hood, the bolt holes are ripped through, my brother forgot to close the hood one day, and it popped open when my dad was driving, and almost flew over the roof. He was not happy about that. Pics of the hood will be added soon. Battery is in the trunk to clean up the engine compartment and add some weight to the rear. Fiberglass racing buckets up front, stock bench seat in the back. Hurst Quarterstick for shifting. My dad has spent many years tweaking the car for max power. Here is a small list of stuff that was done to the engine: 1. motor is .030 over 2. 10 to 1 forged TRW pistons 3. chrome rings 4. magnafluxed rods 5. the crank was polished and balanced 6. Crane cam .454 intake, .480 exhaust 7. double roller timing chain 8. pushrods, lifters, intake valves, stainless exhaust valves, and valve springs ( all TRW ) 9. elec ignition with module orange #505 10. heads were cleaned and knurled K + N air cleaner with K+N air cleaner cover for max air flow. All in all a solid car. Use as a daily driver or resto candidate. These cars are very collectible, we all know what Chryslers are going for these days.
