Up for auction is a 1962 Sixty Two Series Cadillac Convertible Model 62-6267 Two door Convertible Body by Fisher Made in Detroit Michigan Body FW13384 Trim 23 Original paint 22 Now painted Medium Blue 8 Cinder Automatic Power Windows Power Seats Restored as close to original as possible except for paint Original AM Radio This car belonged to a gentleman which has now passed on and has been to a car show locally one time before his passing. The car has been carefully restored and the engine has been completely rebuilt as well as the transmission. Some parts of bumpers have been rechromed as needed. New hydraulic motors were installed for the convertible top as well as a newly upholstered top which matches the interior color. Seats have had new foam and material installed as well. All glass is original and has not been replaced. This vehicle has been garage kept for about 6 years. Has never been in the rain and hasn't been out in the winter in those six years. (Lots of salt on the roads here). Has a flaw in the paint by the drivers door. When installing a seat it fell and scratched the new paint job it has been touched up but not by the painters. Replacement parts were ordered from Hemics and some from Desert Valley. Mechanical: It needs the seal put back in the transmission (is leaking) and it needs the power steering pump fixed and a new carburetor. Other than that the car runs good just needs some minor things and it will be ready for the road.
