1966 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE 4 SPEED! COMES WITH SOFT TOP AND THE ORIGINAL HARD TOP! This Beautiful Nassau Blue Corvette runs strong. It has a 350cid V-8 and a 4 speed manual transmission. The engine is not original, but it is a new engine installed at a Chevrolet dealer in 2002. The trans was also re-done while the engine was out. The body was also painted, the convertible top, front windshield, suspension - including the left side trailing arm, and the chrome bumpers were re-done. The tires are in excellent condition. The mileage on the odometer reads: 138787. The engine and trans probably have about 9,000 miles or less on them. This Corvette was my uncle's car. Unfortunately he passed away recently. I've been asked to sell the car for his family. I am not an expert on Corvettes so i will do my best to describe the car. The Corvette has the original hardtop, manual steering, original am/fm radio with power antenna, hide-away headlights, dual exhaust, a new hidden radio (hidden in the glove box) with remote control, and the original luggage rack (which is off of the car). The Vette has been kept in a garage since my uncle has had it. He covered it with a car cover whenever he was done driving it. I just bought a new car cover for it. The Corvette is in great shape for a car that is over 44 years old! There are some minor things that need to be done to make the car perfect. The headlight switch needs to be replaced as well as the antenna switch or motor (I'm not sure which one). My uncle was in the process of finding these parts before he passed away. There are 2 small butons that can be used temporarily to raise and lower the headlights. The driver side lower rear quarter panel has a repair on it below the belt line. I don't know when it was repaired, but it was before my uncle owned the car. The repair can only be seen from underneath the car. There are some extra parts that come with the car, a second set of floor mats for show, another master cylinder, luggage rack, visors, chrome pieces, 2 service manuals and some other odds and ends.
