You are bidding on my passion that I have to depart with. This is a 1965 Malibu SS 138 car with an amazing body. The second picture shown is the car just before starting my project, I wanted to build a Pro Tourer car. I have stripped most of the paint down to the metal wanting to reveal the true body which I was amazed by. I did find some homemade patches that will need replaced. I have installed the new patches on the front fenders, not due to rust, but do to homemade fix and just wanted it done right Body: Please see my pics of the body, The rockers are perfect, NO RUST, the original seams are all there and perfect. It does need drivers and passenger floor patches, but not bad, and of coarse the trunk needs replaced as all do. The drivers wheel wale is perfect, passenger needs replaced do to homemade patch, not due to rust. The passenger door has a small area that needs replaced but very small. The doors themselves where you think would rust including the bottom are RUST FREE. I am going to try and have the front fenders completed and primed within the next week or so. I have NEW bumpers, New windshield. All the old trim and chrome are sold but I do have the stainless around the front windshiel because it was excellent condition. This body overall is amazing!!!! Drivetrain: The motor is a very strong 425 HP 400 small block with 1965 double hump heads from a 65 Corvette, Lunati cam 520 lift with outstanding power. I do have the motor ready to come out and have all the parts! eddlebrock torker II intake, Holly 750 double pump mechanical secondarys, ceramic headers, flowmaster 2 1/2 H exhaust, only a few years old, TH350 transmission, 3000 stall, 12 bolt posi with 3:73 gears, New brakes, rubber brake lines up front...B&M shifter. Motor has less than 10,000 miles on it if even that. Interior: The interior is fairly new, including the seat covers, headliner, door panels. It does need carpet and arm rests and verious other small items. The steering wheel is new.
