Vehicle Detail

1994 Toyota 2wd Pickup. This vehicle is for sale by owner and located in Northern Vermont. We are the original owner of the vehicle from new and have the full service history. This truck was used primarily as a second vehicle and has only 48,950 original miles. That is not a mis-print, the truck has only 48k in miles on it and runs perfectly. In fact the tires currently on the vehicle are only the second set of tires from new. This has been used year round and has never sat for more then a few weeks so mechanically everything has always been maintained and used. The vehicle is equipped with the venerable 22R-E 4 cylinder Toyota engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. No towing was ever done and no real heavy loads ever transported. The vehicle is currently registered and state inspected, valid until the end of June. Known issues: Mechanically, the vehicle is very strong and runs perfectly. There are two small pin hole leaks in the muffler. Cosmetically, there are rust holes throughout the rear and front fenders. The rear tailgate has some small surface rust at the bottom of the drivers side. The front doors, hood, cab, and interior of bed are all in very good condition. Interior dashboard, seats, and controls are in excellent condition and look like new. Frame and suspension, very poor condition due to rust and decaying rapidly. I would consider these components nearing end of life. The frame is flaking with perforations in many places. The truck is certainly driveable but with these underlying rust issues I would not suggest this vehicle to not be a daily driver. The value of the vehicle would be more for parts then a driveable truck. The drivetrain is perhaps the real value and would be a real asset to someone looking for a motor, transmission, or rear axle swap.
