Vehicle Detail

Ok heres the run down,1985 Grand Natioal T-Top car. Only 2002 built in 85 and estimates are somewhere between 350 to 500 were T-Top cars. The car still has the original( 20 bolt) motor and trans that have been completly rebuilt with only 275 break in miles on it. In 1985 this was the fastest american production car built. Heres the motor build. Line bored, bored .040 over with ta perf. forged pistons with file fit plasma moly rings $580, shot peened rods, arp mains, rods and head studs, multilayer steel head gaskets,ta perf.teflon coated grooved cam bearings, comp cams high energy hyd.roller cam kit# 269H-R$900, cam specs as follows. advertised duration 269int.264exh. @ .050 218int. 212exh. lift 511int. 504exh. 112 lobe sep. Fully balanced rotating assembly. chrome moly steel retainers, ta perf 1.6 rollerrockers$600, ta perf high volume oil pump with adjustable regulator, ta perf. oversize 1.777 stainless polished valves. match ported and polished heads, ta performance steel billet true roller timing set, ta performance timing cover $350, high volume water pump, march performance billet under drive pulley set $500, new cam sensor, new 42lb delphi injectors from ta performance, new plug wires, ta performance super 6 valve covers $140, new ta 33 turbo from precision turbo $1000,rjc racing turbo flange with adjustable wastegate $130, factory nos headers $600, hr parts n stuff stage 1 motor mounts. snow performance stage 2 methanol boost cooler with digital variable controller $420, new custom cold air kit with afe air filter, new holley fuel pump and hot wire kit $320,turbo tweak chip for premium fuel, methanol injection, and up to 20lbs of boost, custom 3" down pipe heat wrapped no cats 2.5" dual exhaust with crossover and flow master 40s $1000, new electric fan with relay $200, all new belts and hoses, I think thats about it for the engine and misc. components im sure somethings i have forgotten. As for the transmission its a 2004-r rated to 650 hp its built way stouter than the street fighter, it has a steel billet servo, kolene steels, red eagle clutches, transco kit $1800, redneck 3000 stall converter non lock up $500, There is a full compliment of gauges and gauge pods that include autometer comp u lite gauges, electric fuel pressure,vac/boost,oil presure, temp, knock and tach with shift lite $800. Im including brand new still in the box edelbrock rear suspension components, graphite poly bushed lower trailing arms, tubular braces and anti hop bars graphite poly bushed $480. New custom GN heat sheild. The car makes just under 300hp and 300ftlbs on the chassie dyno set to only 13lbs of boost for break in. Only 275 miles on the car since build up and she runs awesome. Once the engine is broke in,the boost set and with proper tuning the car will easily run high 12s-low 13s. As for the rest of the car the body is straight with only minor dings and dents, The drivers door has been replaced and needs some alignment. the car needs new rear bumper fillers, the front bumper fillers need replaced which I have and go with the car. The car needs body work, paint, all new weather stripping and window felts to complete the car and be really nice. The interior is in good condition, no rips, tears or stains, the drivers side seat is missing the plastic seat belt guide that mounnts to the top of the seat, the power windows work but the passenger side runs slow, heater and heater controls all work, the ac needs charged, all the lights work, not sure about the cruise control have never tried it,still has the stock radio that some what works on some stations, not sure about the cassette player have never tried it. the wheels are from an 86 gn and the tires are excellent and have 85% left on them. The glass and t-tops are good with no cracks or chips. someone stole all the gn badges off the car when I left it parked in my drive way one night. The car is a real gn WE2 code,I tried to take pics of the option tag on the underneth side of the trunk lid but I cant get them to turn out,I will try again and post the pics. All the exspensive hard work has been done, I spent over 13k on the build, r and r and components. All work was done by professinal local performance specialist in my area, Cassel performance engines, J&K racing transmissions, R&R setup and dyno done by Shellys Performance. I am setting the reserve way below what the engine alone is worth and would cost to build and thousands less than what I spent on the build, someone is going to get a screaming deal on a rare professionly built GN with all the right stuff at just a fraction of the cost. The reason I am selling the car is I just went through a nasty 2.5 year divorce that in the end cost me just under 70k. Also I work in residentail new construction, so due to the economy and my divorce I dont have the funds to finish the body resto. So my loss is your gain, you wont find another deal like this out there and the car has honestly been represented, so bid with confidence. Also the odometer shows 62578 miles, I dont know if that is correct, I just find it hard to belive its a 162k mile car because the interior is in such good condition and dosnt show the wear a car with that kind of miles would have. I dont think the actual miles would be a big concern considering all the running gear is brand new. Also forgot to mention the car still has the original 3.42 posi rearend, the car has been stored in my heated shop for the last 2 years, started monthly and driven a few miles periodicly. Payment details are $1000.00 dollar nonrefundable deposit within 24hrs of auctions end and the balance within 4days of auctions end. I prefer paypal for the deposit but will accept a bank to bank wire transfer, certified cashers check. The car has a clear clean washington title that I will fedex to the new owner once the funds have cleared the bank and are availble. The title and car will stay in my posession until the transaction is 100% complete and funds are avaiilble. It will be the new owners responsibility to pay for shipping, pickup and delivery. I will make myself available to meet the transporter for pickup and a smooth transfer. I will be happy to answer any questions so feel free to e-mail or call. I live in Washington state pacific time.
