I have owned this car for around ten years. It runs OK, although a bit smoky, especially when just started. As a 1981 it is no longer required to pass emissions. It had a valve job around 5000 miles ago. I let my kids use it to drive to school which accounts for the dents and scratches, too numerous to list. A couple of exterior mouldings are missing, but I may have them somewhere. I have the absent wheel cover but it is missing some of the clips that hold it on. Interior is pretty good. 30 mpg. It has some rust, consistent with its age, but nothing too awful. It is 4-speed manual. It has air conditioning, but the v-belt was removed when I got it and I never replaced it. Speedometer works, but odometer comes and goes. It currently shows 141K, so 175K is a guess. Tires are decent. Clutch and brakes seem good. This is definitely a driver with no major problems but might serve better for the thousands of dollars-worth of parts it represents. I think Mercedes would want considerably more for the starter motor than you will pay for this entire car. Sold As-Is. Buyer can pick up or I can deliver this car for $1.50 per one-way mile. Both front fenders are rusted at bottom front and back. Also the right front jacking point is rusty. We have been driving it more or less this way for years. Also, note cracks in the top dashboard covering. I have a Connecticut title in my name for this vehicle.
