Thank you for looking at my Sterling Silver 2003 BMW Z-4 3.0. After retiring from the school system in 2003, I decided it was time to get my mid-life crises car. After searching for a sports car with a trunk large enough for my golf clubs, I settled on a BMW Z-4. After looking for over a year, I found the perfect one at a dealer here in Columbia, SC in July '09. My wife and I have had a ball driving this car on pretty South Carolina days and nice evenings. Other than that, it resides in my garage at home. I've played for two years now, and the little roadster gets driven less frequently. My wife has decided it is time to make more room in the garage, so I'm offering my toy for auction. It is a Sterling Silver 3.0, and loaded with equipment including automatic transmission with manual shift, sports package, heated seats, power windows and top, power seats both sides, Zenon headlights, and more. I have the complete set of original books in the leather case, as well as both keys. I recently had the transmission torque converter and lock-up solenoid replaced at the advice of a local automatic transmission expert. There is a transferrable one-year warranty on these repairs until May '12. All services have been performed on time. The front tires were new when I bought it so they have 16K miles on them, and the rear tires were new in 2010 and they have only 7K miles on them. All tires are Michelin "Run Flats". There are a few minor parking lot abrasions in the finish, but only minor. The car was a non-smoker prior to my purchase and still is. The rich black leather seats are outstanding and the convertible top is as new. As it turns out, this car was built in the South Carolina county where I was employed by the school district, and manufactured in the same month that I retired. As far as I know, the car is in great condition, and I welcome you to come to Lake Murray, SC to look at it and drive it.
