Vehicle Detail

2001 Confederate Hellcat. 107 cu in S&S V-Twin Motor with custom 5 speed transmission If you are familiar with these bikes, you will understand the following. If not, just sit back and learn about early carbon fiber tanks. The fuel tank is made of carbon fiber and unfortunately it is very common for early Confederate tanks to leak. They have outsourced the production of these tanks to three different manufacturers throughout the history of the Hellcat and now finally, they do not use them anymore on their bikes. The tank is 5 US gallons and has a resin based type liner. The higher ethanol in today's gasoline causes the liner to fail. Confederate does not have replacement tanks available and will not repair them. With that said, the tank on this bike has begun to leak. If you have the means to repair or make a new tank, you could have a bad ass bike for a hell of a deal. I can not find anyone in my area that can repair or remake the tank and have decided to part with it. It has been garage kept. One owner. 3,780 miles. Original cost $28,500.00 Really cool and rare bike. High-end wheels, brakes, and suspension parts.
