I will attempt to tell you everything I know about this car. Up for sale is my girlfriend's 2002 Honda Accord EX four-door sedan. She bought it new and is selling it now because she bought a new car. The Accord is silver with gray leather interior and automatic transmission. It is well-equipped with an economical four cylinder engine, power windows, power door locks, remote keyless entry, sunroof, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning (blows cold), as well as driver and passenger airbags. This Accord is in excellent mechanical condition, with 109,264 miles on the odometer, and has a current Virginia safety inspection. These Hondas are extremely reliable and this one could easily go to 300,000 miles. The engine runs smoothly with no fluid leaks and the transmission shifts properly with no fluid leaks. My girlfriend has had ALL the required maintenance done since new at the dealership, either at Ourisman Honda in Bethesda, MD or Tysons Honda in Tysons Corner, VA. The only service item that has not been done is replacement of the timing belt. The exterior of the car is in excellent condition - no dents, scrapes, rust, etc. and it has never been in an accident so the frame is straight and true. The only exterior flaws are a few door dings and minor scratches in the paint. The gray leather interior is also in excellent condition. The tires were replaced about six months ago with a set of Kumho Ecsta ASX all-weather tires, which probably have at least 35,000 miles of wear remaining - the tires won't need to be replaced any time soon. The finish on the original wheels was peeling so she had those wheels replaced with a set of Acura wheels in the correct Accord size. The Acura wheels still have the Acura center caps, but if that bothers you Honda center caps are inexpensive and easily obtainable. The original stereo was replaced with a JVC AM/FM/CD/Cassette/Sirius stereo system that has an iPod connection. A Delphi SkyFi XM satellite radio receiver (permanent mount in forward console) was installed that integrates with the JVC stereo system. The JVC stereo manual and the remainder of the Sirius XM subscription come with the car. This Accord is sold with a clear Virginia title (no liens), three keys, two keyless remotes, the Honda owner's manual, and the JVC owner's manual. Terms of sale are cash, bank check, or Paypal. The successful buyer must make a $500 deposit within 48 hours of purchase. I live near Washington Dulles airport; if necessary, you could fly in, I could pick you up, and you could drive the Accord home - it could be driven back to the west coast with complete confidence. It is ready to go and needs nothing. I personally have driven this car from Washington, DC to Cleveland, Ohio and back several times. It is extremely dependable, runs and shifts smooth, is very quiet on the highway, and just generally hums right along. It takes exactly one tank of gas to get from my girlfriend's house in Washington, DC to her mother's house in Cleveland, so that shows you how great the gas mileage is.
