I am selling a 1959 Corvette, car was a orginally a dual quad 4 speed car. The car is an orignal red car yet is currently in primer sealer. I have the original engine and transmission. Car is currently in a body shop in Upton Ma in sealer, all bodywork has been done is in primer sealer and is ready for paint. The car is a low mileage car, I believe under 40k, I bought it from a guy in Burbank CA, and had it shipped here. It is a hardtop only car and has the correct cover to justify that. It has a nice solid rust free frame. It had been mild hot rod and has a later model olds rear under it. The original block is included, it is complete and ready to go into the car, it has had some serious macine work done to it. I also have the orginal cylinder heads, one has had some machine work done to it and needs to be repaired. Since owning the car i have had the front end rebuilt, the brakes redone and the transmission gone thru. With paint and some assembly this would be a great car. The car is disassembled but complete. I have the original dated motor and transmission, The numbers on the block justify that it was orginally a dual quad car, I bought dual quad setup off ebay, correct appearing for the car, but not the orginal unit for the car. I have all the trim, bumpers, gauges etc for the car. The dash is alos signed by Dick Gulfstrand. It is a project and is somewhat apart, all the work is has been done very well and by a great shop, you may consider having him finish the car, I am currently deployed in Afghnaistan and have some finacial difficulties, otherwise I would have him finish the Car, he currently has my 59, My friends 61 Fuilie and another 59 Vette in his shop. Look at the photos and bid accordingly. I do have everything to complete the car with some duplicate parts. This was a car I was building for myself and al lthe work was done toward that goal. It does pain me to sell it. I do have it listed on CL and do reserve the right to sell of ebay, so bid on ebay early if you are interested. Thanks James
