Up for auction is a Green, 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, convertible, 4x4, tan soft top with 206,000 miles. One owner and well maintained. The car is located in Bartlett IL 60103 (just outside Chicago) This Jeep DOES NOT RUN and is being sold AS IS for parts. This Jeep was running well until February 2011, The engine is blown, I think there is antifreeze in the cylinders, but I am not a mechanic and cannot say for sure. Buyer is responsible for picking the car up and/or shipment of the car. I’ll help push on a trailer. Down Payment via paypal, final payment- cash, money order, casher check Engine: 4.0L 6 cylinder (Blown engine, perhaps cracked blocked) Trans: 5 Speed manual (Professionally rebuilt in 2008 approx. 175k miles), works well Trans: Standard Jeep Transfer case Original to the Jeep Front end: Original to the Jeep, works well. Rear end: (Professionally rebuilt in 2008 approx. 175k miles) works well New clutch installed in 2008 approx. at 175k miles still in good shape (only the second clutch in this jeep) The soft top was NEW in spring 2010 (Mfg. Best top, aftermarket) tinted windows and is in great shape The tires are in great shape, NEW in May 2010 maybe only 4k miles on them. 30x9.5 R15 LT The interior is dirty, dusty and has some scratches. The carpet has some stains front and back. The interior has a wonderful smell of quality cigars. The radio is am/FM/cd and is original to the Jeep. There is an overhead sound bar that works fine. The antenna broke off when we were pushing the Jeep. The console does not lock the door lock on the driver side sticks and could use some oil. The Air condition turns on but has a leak and does not blow cold air. The Jeep was driven every day in Illinois (a salt state) so there is some rust under the car.(see pics) There is rust by the hinges of the doors, windshield, tail gate, and hood. (see pics) There is also rust on the fenders and gas cap screws (see pics ) There is a dent by the back license plate holder. The paint clear coat is flaking off on the hood (see pics.) The front sway bar is disconnected The windshield is in great shape. There is an alarm system but it stop working long ago. The air bags are original and never deployed. The battery is dead, but I can charge it for you before shipment. I have a set of sliding half windows to go with the car, they are tan and are sun faded. The original aluminum rims have wheel locks on them , The key is in the glove box. I have done my best to describe everything and will take more pictures if requested and answer questions best I can. I drove this car every day for more then 10 years and it is my second "New Wrangler" lasted 25k more miles then the my first 1991 Jeep. It has been thru the Blue ridge parkway in the smoky mountains, up to Canada, thru the black hills, twice to Key west FL. and along the Cherokee trail of tears.
