Up for auction is a vehicle I special ordered (one owner). Orginally built for "me" by Chrysler in October of 1998 (vehicle is a 1999 model year). I have the original window sticker which has my name after "built especially for"- which was never applied to the vehicle as it was delivered to me as such. It was delivered to Heritage Jeep of Alexandria, VA. It has been accident free since purchase- impeccably maintained. The Mopar trailer hitch was installed by the dealer after they received the car and only towing it has seen is a bike carrier (not motorcycle) which I will include if you like (Mopar as well and just purchased a couple years ago). I also added the track bar for a bikini top. The bikini top has been used maybe a dozen or so times over the years and will be included. I have replaced the faded side mirrors with new ones mounted on the windshield frame (nice if you want to take the doors off). Since new the car has received all maintenance according to the book (and then some). I've changed the oil and filter every 3 months (or so)/3,000 miles with Castrol Syntec (now Edge) synthetic since day one. Every 20,000 miles I added a BG oil service can. Every 30,000 I added a BG fuel service can to a full tank of fuel. The vehicle has been a third vehicle in the family to us for as long as I can remember and this past oil change took place after just 700 miles due to the time going by faster than the miles. The vehicle is regularly washed. It is waxed using a three part system (Mother's Gold) AT LEAST twice a year. Kept in carport or covered. Paint is in excellent condition given its age. All glass on the vehicle is clear with no cracks (the windshield has been replaced once since new). Eisenglass windows with regard to soft top are clear with very few if any scratches. The clutch was new at 56,000 miles. According to the dealership the vehicle had a bad throw out bearing which caused this. This is the ONLY true major repair this car has seen. There is a glass fracture in the passenger side fog lamp and a small hole (quarter inch round) in the passenger seat which has been there since two weeks after owning the vehicle. It has not gotten bigger or spread. Everything is this vehicle works. From the four wheel drive to the a/c which blows ice cold. This vehicle tracks down the road straight as an arrow and the steering wheel is dead on straight- it has never needed alignment much to the amazement of the shops. Off road use to this one was snow. Exhaust system is leak free and in good condition. Cruise control was a great added option and works great. The top was replaced with an OEM top from Quadratec in March 2009 $453.66 Replaced my older vehicle cover with a new in March 2009 as well. Four new Michelin LTX tires in June of 2009 with mileage on vehicle at 86,243. Basically 7k miles on them and show like new so far as tread. Full size spare is original. I've never used a tire dressing so don't expect them shiny in the pictures. The rims are better off for it as you will see. All wheels have wheel locks. February 2010 new front brake pads and rotors (Mopar parts). Also since I was in there replaced ALL the brake lines (pre-bent front and back with everything in between) with new. These are merely the most recent as I have a file (which you will get) that is over an inch thick of receipts/logs/paperwork. This vehicle starts and runs EXCELLENT. Smooth shifting manual 5 speed, easy transfer case and rock solid in any gear or four wheel drive. Electrical systems have no faults, battery is older Diehard which will one day die (just want to be forthcoming). I will include a new serpentine belt that I purchased (Napa) for a back up spare.
