Up for auction is a Classic 1968 Chevy C-10 Pickup with a Classic Alaskan Camper. I own two of these Classic Pickups, So I'm letting this one go for a great price while I finish fixing up my other one. Please note, I do have this item available for local sale so I reserve the right to end this auction early. My local price is priced for the collector / enthusiast who knows appreciates the vehicle yet still have room to budget in a clean makeover and turn the pickup into a true show stopper. The 307 engine fires right up, hums nicely, and the truck runs, but may need the usual tune-up and other maintenance that is standard for this year of vehicle. The odometer reads 46389 but it is likely may have turned-over. As you can see by the pics, the body is straight and the the interior is what's to be expected of a truck of this vintage and you'll likely want to fully restore in addition to that fantastic paint job you have in store. That said, truck was well-cared for by its previous owner and I have only used the vehicle as a guide to get my other C-10 (a 1967!) restored. You have the Option for the Alaskan camper which does look its age. It lifts hydraulically and has a small fridge, stove and heater. Provisions for the 110-125 volt plug in for electrical power as well. Maybe you'll use it or maybe you'll remove it and restore the bed with a vintage wooden bed floor! Take this Chevy Classic if you choose, HOWEVER, I will remove the camper if you do not want it. THIS is an optional item and I realize you are considering this vehicle because it's a classic 50th anniversary pickup...the camper does not add or subtract any value, as any collector will tell you.Feel free to bid early, I may not be re-listing item in the near future. The vehicle has automatic transmission and registration is current. I also charge a transfer fee to cover the current registration, which I have paid for. The amount of this transfer / paperwork fee is only $109.00 Please add that amount to your winning bid. Buyer is responsible for all DMV and transfer fees. I will help with paperwork. Total reg fees will be between $129 and $290, according to DMV which ran report for me just today and I will help you with the paperwork and include a copy of the original pink slip verifying that this was a single-owner vehicle. The person I acquired this vehicle from is the original owner and the truck has been a single-owner truck since it rolled off the Chevy lot in 1968. The color scheme is original and is the 50th Anniversary Pickup edition for 1968. Enjoy! So there it is. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. Come and drive it off or have it shipped. Sold as is, where is; and, once again it is available for sale locally so I must reserve the right to end the auction early.Good Luck!

On May-24-11 at 18:19:34 PDT, seller added the following information: The vehicle has automatic transmission and registration is current.
