Well Maintained 1988 Jaguar XJ6 Vandenplas. This car is owned by my 78 year old father ( please don't mention the age thing) and he has no idea how to put a car for sale on-line..we just got the cell phone thing working. This car rides like a dream. It is so smooth on the highway, you have to keep your eye on the speedometer. Seriously, it is amazing. The interior is very clean. Although he is not original owner, He is a Dad, and yes the oil is changed every 3000 miles.The other day I drove the car up to get gas for him and as I am filling up the car, the person next to me said " wow, what a nice car". Are you kidding?, This is a 1988 car. They have no idea! Ok, so it is a 1988 so there are some things you need to know. The windshield is cracked and the dashboard has 2 cracks in it. The sunroof needs to be looked at, my dad never used it. There are a couple of small spots of rust bubbles.The wheels and tires are good. It did not start for him one morning and he thought is needed a battery. Come to find out it had a wiring issue. We don't cut corners, so we just paid $900 to have the car wiring all fixed up. Bottom line, It is a great car and It makes you feel like a million bucks when you are driving it.When I did, I never got so many looks and I know it's not me.....it's the car. Should provide you many years of enjoyment.
