1979 Triumph Bonneville

This 1979 Bonneville Triumph was bought brand new by my father. I recovered the bike from my uncle. Clean title, never been down, and garage kept. I am selling the bike based on the fact that I don't ride it enough or have a safe place to store it. The bike has just under 15,300 miles and has been kept original. This year of bike was the last one made with a point system prior to going to a electronic ignition. The tank is in good condition and has never been painted. All lights are original to 1979. Headlight has good chrome with no pits. Brake lights are in good shape with no major cracks in the covers. The exhaust, name badges, and side covers have been replaced with original UK parts. A new seat was put on it a year ago. The front forks are in great shape and do not leak. The bike has been tuned by a Triumph specialist and starts with ease. Minor Imperfections: there are a couple of small scratches on the tank, over the winter the master cylinder leaked and caused some flaked paint at the top of the frame between the handlebars , engine can on occasion drip a few drops of oil after it has been ridden. Imperfections are all minor. Ultimately, the bike is in excellent condition. It would not take much for it to be completely restored however it would not be necessary. I receive many compliments on the bike and folks are surprised at the condition when I share the year of the bike. Possession of the bike can be taken once the payment has been cleared from the bank.
