I am selling my 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser: •2.4L four cylinder gasoline engine. •Manual transmission for very good fuel economy. (much lower than with automatic transmission). •Only ~21,500miles •Very good condition inside and outside. Runs and drives great. •Excellent mechanical condition. Very safe and easy to drive. •Inside almost like new. No kids and pets. Smoke free car. •Very good fuel economy because of 4cyl engine (best I got was 30.4miles per gallon with one tank). •Still under warranty: Purchase date was 07/12/2008. 3years or 36,000 miles warranty. •Price on window sticker was 15,685USD. Now starting price is only 7,900USD. ~50% of new price. •Car comes with the two original keys, the original window sticker, receipt and other paperwork. •No rust because only driven in Oregon. Oregon does not put salt on the streets in winter. •Clean title in hand. VIN Number: 3A8FY48B18T125810 •Tags good until 07/2012In January 2011 my employer transferred me as an expatriate from Germany to Portland, Oregon. I was supposed to stay here for 3 years but because the project I was working on got cancelled after only 5month I have to go back to Germany. Because it would be to expensive to take the car to Germany I have to sell it. CAR HISTORY: I am the second owner of this car. I bought this car from a German colleague from the same company I work for. He was here as an expatriate like me. He bought the car new when he came in 2008 (at the local Chrysler dealer here in Portland). Because it was his second car drove only 18,500miles in 2.5 years. When my colleague went back to Germany in February 2011 I bought the car with 18,565 miles for 9000USD (original price in 2008 was 15,685USD). CONDITION: The car is in a very good condition. Inside it is almost like new (please see pictures below). Both, the previous owner and me have no kids, pets and we don't smoke. Both of use drove the car mostly alone to work as a daily commuter. Outside the car is also in very good condition. It only has some very minor stone chips, which can not be avoided when driving in winter. But rust because Oregon does not put salt on the roads. I never had any issues with that car and I would definitively keep it if would have to go back to Germany. This car is a great daily driver! I also considered shipping the car to Germany, but about 2500USD only for shipping is too much. According to Kelly Blue book price is 9,250USD. Even though this car has very low mileage and is in a very good condition my start price is only 7,900USD, which is a fair price. MILEAGE: Today when I took the pictures mileage was exactly 21.046 miles. Becuase I am driving the car to work every day the mileage for the auction is 21.500 miles. According to a sticker in the window, the next oil change must be done at 21.288 miles. I will bring the car to the Chrysler dealer to change the engine oil before giving the car to the buyer. Taxes and Registration fees: Buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered. 9. Title Information: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks I will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared. 10. Finalizing your Purchase: I may contact the successful high bidder by email after the auction closes. Successful high bidder MUST communicate with me by mail or phone within 24 hours after auction ends to make arrangements and complete their transaction. If I cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 7 days, I reserve the right to relist this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer. In order to secure bid on vehicle. Successful bidder (buyer) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a deposit in the amount of $200 by PayPal. Within 7 days of bid closing, not refoundable. Buyer must pay balance of funds by cash to Seller.
