Up for auction is an unrestored 1962 Chevrolet Impala Drag-Street Car. 383 c.i. small block Chevy w/ 4 bolt mains. Hydraulic cam w/ roller rockers. Micky Thompson M/T valve covers. 2 Carter AFB 650 c.f.m. carburetors w/ progressive linkage. Vertex Magneto. Hedman Hedders with Hedman cutouts and Flow Master exhaust. Muncie 4-speed with Lakewood blowshield, Hurst Competition Plus Shifter & Trans cooler. 2.02 intake 1.60 exhaust valve heads with screw in studs and guide plates. Deep Sump oil pan. New high torque mini starter. Holley Electric fuel pump. 4.56:1 posi-trac rear end. 409 front coil springs. 15x6 Cragar S/S wheels up front with Goodyear racing tires on steelies outback. New Battery mounted in trunk. Old school 3 point roll cage. Bucket seats. All lettering is handpainted. Great nostalgia drag car that you can cruise on the street (with a change of tires).
