I bought this car as a project to give it to my 17yr. old daughter when finished now at 19 she doesn't want it not more. I painted the car, Installed new tail lenses, floor pan repaired, installed new clutch, spent 500.00 dlls in tuning the engine. new alternator, conversion to 12V, electronic ignition, new exhaust pipes. The car needs interior upholstery including seats, liner, carpet, etc. The second gear slips, probably a new tradition is need it. It needs new tires they are old and cracked. It need all rubber seals for doors and windows is a nice project to somebody that loves Bugs. Engine is very good and as I mentioned above it has a new clutch. Battery was new but now it need to be replaced again due to not use. Not rust. The sunroof (factory) mechanism needs the mechanical wiring to make it work. As a mentioned above is a nice project to be completed A desirable model to own. The title is Clean. Registration is due this month.
