Vehicle Detail
Relisted because previous winner was unable to complete deal Thanks for the interest in the first auction. We had over 2500 people interested in the car, unfortunately the one who won was unable to follow thru with the deal. So now I offer it once again. This time I have added a buy it it now of $17,500 and lowered the starting price to $14,500 which would be a bargun, I have well over $20,000 invested. One other point of interest I was offered several trades, and just to simplify this, the only trades I might look at would be for a low milage late model Harley Road King or a river Jet Boat. PLEASE IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO COMPLETE THE DEAL DO NOT BID More Pictures Click Here Classy Rat Rod 1930 Model A Ford Sedan The car I am offering for sale is approximately four years new. The body and the frame were salvaged from a wrecking yard and then heavily modified. The body was soda blasted and all rust removed; chopped 4 inches and channeled another 4 inches. The frame was completely disassembled and sand blasted, only the main rails were reused; they were fully boxed and welded to a four link rear section with all brackets and cross members replaced to accommodate the Chevy motor and trans. It was then Powder coated. This car is a bit extreme considering the lack of weight and the horse power, it is not a car I would put a sixteen year old in and let them loose. It is not a car I would plan on driving long distance. It is very loud and may not meet noise ordinances in some states. This is however the most exciting car I have ever driven. The car is a RATROD, it is my daily driver during the summer. ASIS The car is being sold as-is no warranty expressed or implied. The car is in great functional condition with very low millage on everything. It only needs a few minor things to be perfect and complete in my eyes, which include the following: Need a speed-o cable Needs the fuel level sensor adjusted The engine & Accessories Built by Meridian automotive in 2009, it was built to handle the Weiand 6-71 blower. It was built with the following components: SCAT Forged rotating assembly JE blower pistons 8.5 to 1 compression Competition Cam Blower grind Summit Racing Cast Iron heads slightly modified for better air flow Crane roller rockers High cap oil pump Double roller timing chain Seven quart oil pan MSD Ignition system with the Blower timing module 6ABTM w/6000 rpm chip installed Weiand 6-71 blower w/spare blower belt Holley carbs jetted for this application Exhaust is a set of fender well headers with sprint car baffles Gm Chromed alternator and starter Cooling system Aluminum water pump Aluminum radiator with trans cooler built in Electric cooling fan with custom shroud Stainless transmission cooling lines Fuel System 16 Gallon fuel cell Holley blue fuel pump with regulator Stainless steel fuel lines with an in line filter Transmission B&M Turbo 400 B&M street fighter torque converter Hurst Quarter Stick Shifter Suspension, Steering & Brakes Rear end is a ten bolt GM Positrac rebuilt 2 years ago by Boise Drive Line Service Four link rear suspension with airbags and shocks Front end is a TCI chrome four inch drop with disc brakes Vega Steering box GM tilt steering column modified slightly Corvette style under floor power brake master cylinder Disc front and Drum Rear brakes Front break Line lock installed but never powered up Chassis & Body Heavily modified Model A chassis rear section added to allow for four link and air ride suspension. Powder coated by Epsco in Boise Idaho. Body is an original all steel body which has been chopped and channeled four inches. It is not show perfect we intentionally left the bullet holes in the body and it has no body filler, so it is not perfect. The wood framing for the body was all replaced with a kit from Arizona; don’t remember the suppliers name but they did a great job. The only glass in the car is the windshield interior consists of two seats with no interior panels; we just painted the inside of the body. The top is custom cloth with clear Maltese cross which allows driver to see stop lights Miscellaneous Electrical is a painless wiring style system purchased from eBay store and modified for used in this application. Main Gauges - five gauge cluster with Speedo, oil press, amps, volts, gas Boost gauge Tachometer – Autometer six inch with shift light Emergency brake lever is salvaged from old junk yard and modified to mount on back of trans. Tail lights are Model A ford on custom brackets There is a mad clown decal on back of car, cool looking but may not fit buyers likes, can be removed easily. If you have any question email them thru eBay and I will reciprocate, if you leave me your phone number I will be happy to answer questions. Please Do Not Bid if you do not intend to go thru with the deal. If the deal fails to be completed you will be responsible for any fees. Payment Payment will be by cash or cashier’s check only and funds must clear before the car will be released to you or your agent. Full payment due within seven days of end of auction.
