Vehicle Detail

Love my Westy...Exterior work includes a beautiful brand new paint job(April '11), brand new hubcaps, new windshield, new back bumper with end caps, tinted windows, new mud flaps, new back window seal (new side window seals included in purchase)...upgraded custom interior wood paneling with natural wood finish, vinyl wood floor. Other cosmetic improvements include reupholstered back seat and foam cushion, updated designer curtains, outfitted with a radio/cd player with a separate power amplifier. This vehicle is equipped with a complete kitchen, including sink, stove, refrigerator, propane tank (all rarely used). This "camper" conversion fits 4 adults comfortably, has closet space, and comes with a retractable awing extension (not pictured). The best part... The transmission is completely redone'09- just barely 2 years old. The entire brake system is new, rebuilt clutch, new battery'09. Undercarriage is in great shape. Spent its first 20 years in Southern California and the last 8 years in Central Florida. The engine is new in Nov. 2000 with a Long Block 1.9/2.1, and only 34,632 new miles! The current odometer reading is 245,279. ALL RECEIPTS HAVE BEEN KEPT AND CAN BE PROVIDED. The front carpet and front captain chairs are original and have wear and tear. The drivers seat has a approximate 4"repaired patch in the fabric. I have outfitted them with new seat covers (not in photos). The rearview mirror and front inside door handles are also original and show their age. Oh, and the horn doesn't work. This has been a side project of mine for some time now. Though I hate to sell it, my fiance doesn't want it and is making me put it up. Outdoor enthusiasts, Westfalia enthusiasts will surely appreciate this vehicle. Good luck AND feel free to ask any questions. Thanks. On May-18-11 at 19:08:08 PDT, seller added the following information: *** A note to add that the History report does state 4 owners but technically it's had 3. I put the van in my mother's name for a time. Also, the accident reported was only a slight bumper dent, which got replaced. Costs of the redone engine alone topped $4000.00. Thanks. On May-24-11 at 17:54:54 PDT, seller added the following information: Just added some photos...I know it's last minute but with some questions from people I figured to just add some. Thanks for looking.
