I’m going to hate to see this beauty go, but I have lost the battle for garage space. This 1970 Corvette Stingray Convertible has been in my family since the mid- seventies when my mother bought it. It has the 300hp / 350 cid with four speed. I grew up having to endure seeing this in the garage everyday not being able to drive it. It has all matching numbers and is all original except for high quality Imron paint applied shortly after my mother bought it. It has two tops, but I find I seldom use the removable hard top (It’s a convertible!!!). It’s a forty-one year old classic, so does need a few things. The heater core started to leak a few years ago and I just bypassed it thinking I’d fix it later. Not all of the gauges work. The drive train is VERY sound. The engine has not been opened other than to replace valve cover gaskets. Within the last thousand miles I have replaced the clutch / pressure plate, plugs, points, condenser (tune up). At the same time I had a quality exhaust system installed. It has a deep sound that subtly lets those around you know there is power under the hood. You can see in the photos that the tires have many miles left on them. The wipers and wiper door work as do all lights and hideaways. The battery was replaced this spring. I’m not aware of any reason you wouldn’t be able to drive this home. It’s tons of fun to drive and turns heads along the way. Low Reserve.
