Up for bid is a 1957 Buick Special 4dr hard top. The car is in running condition and all original. The engine has 3200. miles since it was rebuild. Original 364ci Nail Head Engine built by El Monte head and engine re builders in 2001. I had Joe at El Monte head go through it completely. New cam along with all the other parts, harden valve seats, Rebuilt oil pump. ground and balanced crank. the engine has a 60 thousands over bore. The breaks were completely gone through and redone just over 2000 miles ago. The car pulls slightly to the right when cruising at about 30mph witch leads me to think it my need an alignment. The carburetor was rebuilt along with the engine. the transmission leaks but does, and always has ran great. The radio and heater are not in functioning order, and one of the knobs is missing from the radio. the carpet and head liner are worn and need replacing, but the seats are in nice shape. the dash is completely intact, and speedo functions properly. the body and frame are straight and cancer free except for some small sections at the base of the doors, some sections of the floor boards and trunk. All miner and easy to mend. the paint is cracking on the roof. The buyer will have to pick up the vehicle promptly after sale and full payment are secured. the car currently has a California title and has not had it's registration renewed in a few years. the car was stored for the last 5 years. I will be out o town from may 17th to the 30th. so pickup will have to be after the 30th.
