This Month, this Van has been VA State Safety inspected and nothing found nothing wrong with it. We even had one of the mechanics drive it home over night to give it a nice long test drive and make sure no issues were overlooked. Even with the high miles, there nothing mechanically wrong was found with this van that we can find. The AC Blows Ice Cold, the Engine is Strong, All Power Features Work - Including Side Doors, The Key Fob Works! This Van is Ready! For Sale by: CARNET 12638 Broad St Rd Richmond, VA 23233 We sit just under the over pass at RTE 288 and Broad St. Our office is located on the back of the building. We schedule all car showings by appointment, please call 804-928-9099 or 804-938-8767 to schedule. Please read the following to learn all about this 2002 Honda Odyssey. Exterior: The 2002 Honda Odyssey EX was built to transport families in style and comfort. The sleek and smooth lines give a fluid appearance and profile to this minivan. The Gold metallic exterior color is very Classy and looks very nice with the painted to match accents including exterior side view mirrors, front grill, bumpers, etc. Black accents such as the dark tinted windows and roof rack add just the right touch of contrast and appeal. One of the nice things about this Honda is that there are 2 Power Sliding Side Doors. They are controlled from buttons on the remote key fob, or from buttons on the front dash, just to the left of the steering wheel. This allows for easy access and no unnecessary trips all around the vehicle. Kids can get in from both sides or you can load the cargo from either side. The rear of this 2002 Odyssey is rounded at the top to give some luxury appeal to it. There is a rear window wiper, washer, and defrost as well as a center mounted brake light. The bumper is the same color as the rest of the gold Exterior and has a slip proof black grip surface on top. The rear hatch opens in one piece making loading and unloading much easier because you can stand right next to the van without reaching over or around. You also get a tow hitch back here as well. The front of this Honda is nice looking driving down the road. The bumper here is also gold like the rest of the minivan. You will also notice that like most minivans the windshield is very large. This helps so much with visibility, especially when driving with precious cargo. The grill is painted to match the rest of the body color and has the iconic Honda H emblem in the middle. The lower bumper panel is nicely designed as well. You also get a front license plate bracket here for the states that require it. This 2002 has nice looking Factory Upgraded Alloy Wheels. There is fading on the center caps and some curb chew on the alloys. The tires just passed VA State Safety Inspection. Overall, the exterior of this minivan is in Normal/Average Condition. I say this because there are some normal, very small issues. I notice the following things which are all to be expected on a 2002 Minivan: Road rash on the front bumper and lower hood area, scratches on the rear bumper, scuffs and small scratches on the driver and passenger side. However, if you have realistic expectations you will be happy with this Honda. Any small imperfections are reflected in the already Low Price of this Minivan. Interior: The Interior of this 2002 Honda has all the things you need for a nice ride. The upholstery is Tan Sport Cloth and coordinating carpet and dash. This neutral color is great for concealing spills or stains and it just looks nice. The tan cloth is also nice since it does not get too hot in the summer. This Van will comfortably seat 7 people. There are individual captain seats for both the front and middle passengers. The rear seat is a 3 person bench. The seats are super easy to adjust and convert. This offers the best in function and form. You can recess the rear bench into the floor, totally remove the second row, and much more. The front chairs are captain style with Adjustable Armrests, Head Restraints and Shoulder Belts. They are both multi point adjustable, the driver seat is multi point power adjustable. The Driver’s seat has access to all of the amenities that are loaded onto this van. There are power windows (including rear side venting windows), door locks, and mirrors. The steering wheel conveniently houses the cruise controls and the gauge panel has all the standard gauges and warning lights (none of which are on). And the odometer and trip meter are digital. One of the most popular features of this Van are the power remote side doors. I have to admit, I am getting so spoiled by these power doors. From the key fob, you can open or close either side door. There are also buttons on the dash, to the left of the steering wheel, to control the power doors, too. There are some really great features I have noticed when driving this Van. For example, driver’s comfort is very well thought out. The seats are comfortable, firm and in great condition. There are plenty of cup holders and cubbies for storing stuff. Between the front seats is a tray with cup holders and flat surface. When Up, I use the top flat surface for writing notes, holding my cell phone, etc and I put my purse underneath, neatly out of the way but still easy to grab. When up, there are 4 cupholders, great for a multi tasker such as myself. But, with this center tray down, it is easy to go from the front to rear seats without ever getting out of the car. It may not sound like that much of a big deal, but I find myself using this access all the time. From the front dash are two cup holders that pull out. Perfect if you have lots of passengers, or if you have the center tray down and cannot use those cup holders. Sometimes, I use this pull out cup holder for my cell phone, too. Each of the front doors are trimmed with a matching tan soft cloth and have large cubby holes for storage. The center dash has lots of stuff right at your fingertips. The audio system is a Factory stock AM FM Tuner with Cassette and CD Player. There are steering wheel mounted radio controls. The climate control is super easy to use. I drive a lot of cars that I can never figure out the ac, and in this recent heat, a super easy to use climate control is awesome. This Van has rear air conditioning/heating vents. And there is also a fan control for the Rear passengers in the back. There are also rear window wiper, washer and defrost buttons here on the center dash. Over head, there is also more fold down storage here as well that holds sunglasses. Up here there is a Homelink Garage Door Openers. Both passenger and driver have vanity mirrors. There is also a lighted glove box with the owner‘s manual. The second seat of seating offers a ton of Features. There are individual seats here that seats 2 more people and each is removable. There are adjustable headrests and seatbelts and armrests. There are cup holders on the side of each seat. Both seats have two adjustable armrests for added comfort. The seats also recline for added comfort. The 3rd row seats 3 people and is bench style. This bench is also fold able and is called a Magic Seat. The Magic is that it will fold and recess into the floor and sit totally flat. There are built in cup holders on both sides, and side storage cubbies. And there are also covered storage compartments on one side. This bench seat has 3 adjustable headrests. The rear windows have the venting feature, so you can open them up a few inches to let the fresh air in. The very back cargo area is carpeted and offers plenty of little extras. You will find that when the rear seat is up, there is a very spacious recessed cargo area. There is a side cargo net, storage cubbies, AC power source, and more in this rear area. The strap on the back of the third seat makes putting the seat up and down much easier. There is a piece of Velcro that attaches the strap to the seat so it does not flop around. Even with all rows of seating in place there is still plenty of room for all your belongings, If you have more than this space allows, there is always the roof rack on top. Overall, the condition of this interior is what I would consider Good. There is some staining on the carpet and some wear can be noticed. There are also a few burn marks on the some of the seating surfaces and on the driver side door panel. However, for the years and miles, it looks good. Under the Hood: This 2002 Honda Odyssey EX-L has a 3.5 L V6 engine. The V6 saves on gas yet has enough power to do anything you want or need. I actually find it to be surprisingly peppy and quick. The tires just passed state inspection so they have plenty of tread left. The Engine sounds and runs as it should and the transmission shifts smoothly. This minivan should have no trouble on any reasonable drive home. This Honda Traded in at the local Honda Dealership where it went through a full pre sale inspection with fling colors. The Carfax shows that this is a one owner Minivan, and this is confirmed with the original Virginia Title. It is in great shape! I had my mechanic go over this Van and check everything. The engine, transmission, and all components have been mechanically tested and perform just as they should. There were no immediate recommendations or repairs to be made on this van. Driving Impressions: Driving this minivan is very nice. I am not much of a minivan person, but I really enjoy this one. There are so many features that make it practical and convenient. From the remote sliding doors and rear hatch to the customizable 2nd and 3rd row seating. I would have no problem selling this van to anyone I know or am related to. With the miles on this Honda, I even had one of the mechanics at our repair shop drive it home one evening. This way, he got an hour plus round trip to make sure not surprises came up. Since then, we have been driving it daily and it performs, in his words, just as a car with 200k miles should. With love overhead and high volume, our cars are priced less than most private sellers and normally only a few hundred dollars over our cost. We can provide quality cars at a low cost. Look at Wal-Mart, high volume companies save you money. 2. In VA, all of our running vehicles have to be State Safety Inspected. Virginia has one of the most strict inspection processes. An independent shop inspects such components as Lights, Suspension, Brakes, Tires, Windshield, and More! We usually plan on spending at least $600 per car to get them to pass state inspection. So, you have piece of mind that this inspection has been done recently. 3. As a dealer, you never have to wait to legally drive and register your car. Even if there is a bank payoff or title, we can facilitate an easy exchange and provide any necessary temporary tags and accompanying paperwork so you can drive away at the time of pick up. (Please note, not all cars qualify for temporary tags if we have the original title at time of transfer. 4. Safety! As a business, you have the added security and confidence that your safety is maintained at the time of pick up. No driving up to a stranger's house, our transactions take place at a licensed dealership. 5. Information available about each car we sell! We are professionals with years of experience. We are not dumping any unwanted junk out of our back yard on ebay. We spend hours taking detailed photos, including specific information about each car, and adding our own impressions of how a car performs. We do not have emotional attachments to these cars and try to be as honest as possible about the overall condition. 6. On, ebay you have the confidence that you are shopping with a state licensed, bonded and insured company. We cannot scam and run ebay frauds the way private sellers could. Plus, look at our years ebay history. We want to talk about a couple of items. We are Wholesale Dealers. We buy our cars Directly from New Car Dealers and Not Auctions. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that we sell quality cars. When they are traded in, someone at the new car dealer drives the car. When we buy the car, someone from our dealership drives the car. If a car has a problem we either fix it or disclose it. We have no intention or knowledge of ever selling a car with a problem. However, all cars break. I wish I could, but I cannot predict when a car will break. We do our best to represent the vehicle fairly, however, we are human and do make mistakes. Any minor imperfections consistent with age are not reasons for refusal of delivery/pick up or negotiation. We sell cars As Is, and cannot warranty any vehicles we sell so please take careful consideration when bidding on or buying now these cars. Whenever we sell a car on ebay, we always seem to be asked how we think the car would function on a long drive home from pick up. While I cannot offer any warranty or guarantee I have no reason to believe this car would not make any drive home.
