1957 BMW Isetta 300, stored in my Garage for 20+ years. This is a project car needing full and complete restoration. NOTE, just looked at the label on the car, Since the build year is 1957, it may be considered a 1958 here in the states. ???? I believe I have most or almost all the parts, Rear window is not present. I was told this was of the rarest of Isetta's. Has the triangular vent windows. Glass is intact front door and sides.Cranked Up Engine Once . The body is in fair shape, mostly dents and bumps that can be easily fixed without much effort. the frontal door has small dents that need repair, Some rust in floor board around where battery should be. For the right guy this one would be a price worth owning if you can do the work. This is a rare opportunity to get the making of something real special. (I had in mind to have it painted Eggshell White W/ the M-style stripe over part of the side. White leather seat W/M stripes as well, (Wow I.m Dreaming again) Pictures Of MY 1957 Isetta 300, as you can see it has a few places on the body , I would still call it Light bodywork. Obviously this car needs an off the frame restoration to be done right Car Exterior in off white primer. I have bumpers, but I think they are not original. They don't have any chrome on them. Some things that are or may be missing. Soft top for sunroof, frame and soft cover for rear window area. taillight lens, headlight lens, Bench Seat is not available (lost at Upholstery shop) Engine cover lock, screws, keys, and trim parts also missing. Need tires , rims in good condition. Sorry for the endless revisions. The satisfaction when this one completed carries a lot of conversation and memories. Just think, You could make a video of the entire process. As far as I know, the Bench seat is Lost I hate to have to give it up, since I had big plans for it. Just seems time is slipping away , interest still alive, but energy and time is not. I expect the car to be picked up, I don,t plan to offer shipping.
