All you old-school Quattro lovers, you may be interested in my "two for the price of one" listing. I have owned my 1990 Audi 200 Quattro for approximately 4 years and drove it very little due to work, projects, etc. I have owned seven Audi's in the past several years and am familiar with the various different models. The majority of the Audis were the 5 cylinder models, mostly Quattros, and enjoyed every one of them. This Audi 200 Quattro I saved from destruction since the previous owner thought the head gasket was blown and didn't have the funds or understanding to trouble shoot the car and was ready to haul it to salvage. I took the car home and diagnosed a sender unit to be faulty, replaced some rear brake lines, replaced both front drive axles with rebuilt units, replaced the radiator and then drove the car. The car spent some of its first years in the northeast when it was new hence some surface rust here and there but no rust through. The car is not a "rust bucket". It runs and drives well and could possibly make a long distance trip. The climate control works well and directs air where it should however, the A/C does not blow cold. I believe a check of the A/C components would be in order since the freon appears to have leaked out. All A/C components are there and plumbed. The electric fans come on when they should as does the cooling fan for the injector lines. The driver's window and right rear passenger window work, the others don't. All guages work properly including the speedo/trip meter. The airbag light stays on for the first 5 minutes and then goes out. All four radials are matching "Fusion HRI" that are nearly new (note pics). Driver's seat has one small split (see photo) and the arm rest has a split as well. Now the "TWO for the price of one" isssue. I also obtained a 1989 Audi 200 Turbo, black, that DOES have a blown engine. It's arm rest is in perfect shape, it also has the "Sport" front seats however they would need re-upholstering since the leather is cracked and dry. I got the car for a parts car for my 1990 model. I have noticed that these cars are becoming more rare on the road or in salvage yards. So this car was a good find. It goes along with the auction. Whoever wins, gets both cars.
