1985 BMW 535i We have been a licensed Automobile Dealership in Philadelphia, PA for the past thirteen years at 5011 Torresdale Avenue. We are primarily in the automobile wholesale business selling to other dealerships at auction, and we are now listing select vehicles for sale to the public as well. The auction terms pertaining to payment, pickup, etc must be observed for this guarantee. This is a very clean 1985 BMW 535i with 118,310 original miles. This car has had only one owner since new, who originally lived in Florida and purchased this car . We haven’t had one of these cars in a long time, and this one is in great shape considering its age. The title is clean and clear. I’m not as familiar with a vintage BMW as an enthusiast might be, but we checked it out and I drove this 535 around for some errands and I’ll tell you everything we know about it: The engine runs strong and smoothly, the transmission shifts nicely, and the whole driveline feels very good too. The tires and brake pads are all showing a good amount of life. The oil and filetr, air filter and spark plugs are all new. There aren’t any service warning lights on. We checked the power equipment in this car. I believe everything is working except that the right rear window needs some assistance. All other windows are working as well including the power door locks and sunroof. The heat and the air conditioning are both operate well. The owner installed a stereo with 12-disk CD-Changer mounted in the trunk. This car has a great looking white exterior. I don’t see any rust on the body of this car except some small spots on the under side of the rocker panels which are under the bottom edges. Otherwise there is just some of the normal minor flaws, and really not much of that at all. The paint is still glossy and clean over the entire body. This is a very nice looking car. (Note: The photographer did not close the left rear door all the way before taking the photos). The interior is also in great condition. The leather shows normal wear, but is still in very good condition. The carpeting is clean, fluffy and in great condition. The interior trim is also in very good condition throughout this car. This appears to have been a non-smoker owned vehicle, and there aren’t any interior odors. Although this isn’t a show car, it is a nice solid classic car, which can be driven and used right away. This I would feel comfortable jumping in and driving this BMW anywhere. REGISTRATION, TITLES & FEES: Out of state purchasers do not pay any Pennsylvania sales tax. A $60 fee will be added to the final sale price of each online transaction, which will cover document fees and preparation, notarizations, and courier costs. Temporary Transit Tags are available through the state of PA for $40, which will provide valid registration for a period of 30 days. In order to obtain this tag, please provide proof of insurance for any vehicle that you presently own. Titles are available to the buyer immediately upon full irrevocable payment, which is performed by bank wire transfer, cash in person, or certified personal check. Otherwise, the title will be sent to you after your payments have cleared our bank. Occasionally, a title is still being processed by the state and we will issue free temporary registration until the title is received. All vehicles we sell on eBay are stored in a separate secured facility and we require that all vehicles be picked up within ten days of auction completion. Storage charges after ten days will be charged at $15/day for cars, and more for trucks and larger vehicles depending on size. We will try to exercise some flexibility to accommodate special requests regarding our terms, if they are placed before the auction ends.
